The fire control panel is the central device in the fire alarm system, which is responsible for receiving and processing signals from sensors. It determines the functionality of the alarm and controls the operation of various loops.
The main characteristics of the control panel include the number of controlled loops, the principle of operation of the sensors (security or fire), the power supply of the sensors and the possibility of partial arming.
The control panel can be wireless or work on the basis of wired sensors. Wireless sensors are connected via a radio channel and require diagnostic signals to check their status.
Arming and disarming are carried out using a key or card, as well as a radio lock or a bell. The control panel also supports SMS notification and the Contact ID protocol for transmitting information about triggered devices to the monitoring console.
